Valencia coach Ruben Baraja has welcomed new signing Peter Federico Gonzalez from Real Madrid.

The winger is joining on-loan with a permanent option of €3m included.

Valencia will retain 50 per cent of Peter's registration should he sign outright.

"He is a young player with a lot of hunger and a lot of ambition," said Baraja.

"It is true that after making his debut he did not find a place in the first team. He comes to help, contribute and add strength in that position in which we fell short in the last market."
