Manchester United's Victor Valdes could return to Spain as Valencia are reportedly in 'talks' with United about the goalkeeper.
According to Spanish paper Marca, Valencia have shifted their focus from Arsenal's David Ospina to Valdes after he was put up for sale this week.
United boss Louis van Gaal indicated that Valdes would be on his way out at Old Trafford after just 12 months with the club: "He is not selected [for the pre-season tour] because he doesn't follow our philosophy and there is no place for that one player."
And Valencia are taking advantage of just that, as their No. 1 Diego Alves is out with a knee injury.
Valdes is reportedly keen to sign with the club if he can get his hands on a two-year deal, while Valencia are only happy to commit to one year.
