Valencia sports chief Braulio Vazquez has been in Holland to check on Ajax players.
Vazquez is watching three players, defender Toby Alderweireld, striker Miralem Sulejmani and winger Isaac Cuenca, on-loan at Ajax from Barcelona.
With new coach Ernesto Valverde in place, Los Che are keen to support him with a revamped squad for next season.
