Utrecht are bracing themselves for a battle to keep hold of star striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel.
Dutch sources say Liverpool and Newcastle United are asking for tickets from Utrecht management for their scouts to check on the player in the coming weeks.
Van Wolfswinkel came to the notice of Newcastle United during Utrecht's successful Europa League tie against Celtic. Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson has had Kenny Dalglish make a personal check on the youngster in the last month.
The young forward is tied to Utrecht until 2013.
