FC Utrecht have decided against taking Liverpool striker Jordy Brouwer on-loan.

Utrecht technical director Piet Buter explained: "He is a very good footballer, but not the right type for our team.

"We see and we know that he is a good player, but his type of game does not fit well with ours."
