Germany coach Jurgen Klinsmann is being linked with the job at Everton.
The Daily Star says the USA national team boss was a 950-1 outsider for the Goodison Park post with bookmakers last week - but he is now as short as 4-1 to succeed David Moyes.
Klinsmann made himself a cult hero in the Premier League for Tottenham in the 1990s with his diving celebration - but he has only managed one club side.
That was Bayern Munich - the 48-year-old got them into the last 16 of the Champions League back in 2009 - although Klinsmann has had spells in charge of Germany and now USA, where he has been in charge since 2011.
