Herculez Gomez is determined to achieve unbridled success now that he has joined Club Tijuana.
The 31-year old USA international has completed his shift from Santos Laguna and is looking forward to adding to the 2012 Liga MX Apertura title that the Xolos, who were founded in 2007, have previously secured.
"I'm coming to a team that has made a lot of history in a short amount of time and we all have the same idea of continuing to achieve important things," Gomez said at a press conference in Tijuana on Sunday.
"Tijuana wants to break through borders, to be an international team; I feel at home.
"I've not spoken a lot with the director (Ignacio Palou), but he's given us the confidence that we are here to contribute and that if you give everything, all will be ok," added Gomez.
"It's a very mentally strong group, they understand that the group's unity is the strength of this team."
Gomez counts the 2005 MLS Cup and 2005 US Open Cup - both with LA Galaxy - and the 2012 Mexican Clausura with Santos Laguna as titles he has won and will be hoping to bring that winning form to Tijuana.
