Fabian Johnson scored his first goal for Borussia Monchengladbach on the weekend.
The 27-year old USA international, who joined 'Gladbach from Hoffenheim in the summer, netted in the 19th minute of his side's 2-0 Bundesliga win over SC Paderborn at Stadion im Borussia-Park.
Johnson, who was deployed on the left wing, took possession about 25 yards from goal before beating two defenders and then hitting a slightly deflected, bouncing effort past Paderborn keeper Lukas Kruse.
The goal preceded Max Kruse's 81st-minute follow-up finish which came after a Johnson cross had been struck on target but only partially saved by the visiting gloveman.
The victory saw 'Gladbach remain third in Germany's top flight where they sit 10 points behind second-placed Wolfsburg and four ahead of Bayer Leverkusen in fourth.
