Urby Emanuelson is delighted with his move to Atalanta.
The former AC Milan defender made his debut in victory over Cagliari.
"I am happy to be here," said the Dutch international to reporters.
"I was not fitting in at Roma and had already thought about leaving before the call came from Atalanta.
"I am satisfied with my first few minutes in a Nerazzurri jersey. I hadn't played for a while, so am still lacking match fitness and am not at 100 per cent.
"I am still content with the debut and the three points, which are very important for our campaign. Now we must continue like this."
