Sporting Gijon defender Jorge Mere is ducking questions about a move to Barcelona.

Mere has been linked to Barcelona but he says that there has been no contact from the Catalan club.

The Sporting defender suffered with the Spain U21 team as they lost the Euros final to Germany.

Mere was visibly upset by the defeat but he still stopped to speak to the media in the mixed zone.

"Barca? Nothing, nothing, there's nothing," he said when asked about the Catalan giants' interest.
