Udinese president Giampaolo Pozzo admits they've spoken with Napoli about the future of Antonio Candreva.
Candreva is currently starring on-loan with Livorno.
Pozzo said: "We have spoken, but until the market reopens it's useless to create illusions.
"Candreva is a player who has come out very well. He has important gifts, but needs to be left alone. In the end, it's up to him to decide.
"Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis and I have a good relationship. We are frequently in touch, but nothing has been set in stone."
