Udinese president Giampaolo Pozzo admits he's come close to selling Antonio di Natale to Napoli.
"It is true Napoli sought me out to buy Di Natale after Quagliarella," Pozzo told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.
"The fact is that it also seemed like Di Natale wanted to leave. I confirm that there was interest. We also found an economic agreement.
"We met with Napoli director of sport Pierpaolo Marino. Napoli tried to sign him. But it was Di Natale who refused the destination, saying that he wanted to stay in Udine. For me the case is closed."
