Udinese defender Kingsley Ehizibue enjoyed West Ham hit out

Udinese defender Kingsley Ehizibue says there's positives to draw from their friendly defeat to West Ham.

Ehizibue said he was happy with the way Udinese performed and his own display against West Ham, who ran out as 3-1 winners at Dacia Arena.

“We played well today. Of course we still need to improve and we'll do that one step at a time. We have a great team – I think we're good enough for Europe."

With Udinese short on central defenders, the right-back did a job in the middle for this game and revealed where his inspiration comes from.

“I enjoyed playing there. I'm learning lots from my team-mates like [Rodrigo] Becao and [Jaka] Bijol. I watch them closely in training.

“Sottil spends a lot of time talking to me and the other players and that's a good thing. He gave me lots of pointers today too."
