Udinese coach Stramaccioni: We must learn from Sunderland defeat

Udinese coach Andrea Stramaccioni says there's lessons to heed from their defeat to Sunderland.

The English tour has been a struggle for the Friulani, as they drew 1-1 with Watford and were beaten by the Black Cats.

"These are the friendlies that will help us to grow," said the Coach on Udinese Channel.

"Up until conceding the opening goal on a corner, Udinese had been doing very well, but we knew with Sunderland's height that set pieces were going to be dangerous.

"Then we were very naive to give away the penalty 60 seconds later. Unfortunately, in one minute the whole game changed.

"We mustn't make a drama out of it, as these are the games we need to get into shape for the start of the Serie A season.

"I wanted to play these tough matches because they are very intense."
