Udinese coach Francesco Guidolin has heaped praise on Inter Milan striker Diego Milito.
Guidolin rates Milito as the "the ideal modern striker".
"In my career I have often had typical centre-forwards, but football changes over the years and so I also adjusted my style of play," he said.
"Now they make the most of the modern striker, a central reference point who knows how to play the ball to feet and combine with his teammates. The ideal modern striker is Milito.
"In today's football the trequartisti are returning, as Barcelona became the strongest side in the world without any 'giant' forwards. The use of 4-2-3-1 in European football has favoured the emergence of talented players who can run the game behind the strikers."
