Udinese coach Guidolin finds positives in Chievo point

Udinese coach Francesco Guidolin found positives in their 0-0 draw with Chievo.

The Friulani snatched a 0-0 draw in Verona thanks to Samir Handanovic's save to deny a Cyril Thereau penalty.

"My players did very well," said Guidolin. "It was not easy to play this game and it was a response on the field in terms of professionalism, unity and grit."

It was played just a week after Udinese-owned midfielder Piermario Morosini died during Pescara-Livorno, where he was on loan since January.

"Everything that happened over the last few days weighed heavily on us. The team was not relaxed, but still managed to stay concentrated.

"We are not interested in the change of fixture list. If we reach Europe then it will be a celebration, otherwise it won't."
