Udinese coach Guidolin defends out-of-sorts Di Natale

Udinese coach Francesco Guidolin has defended the form of Antonio di Natale.

The striker's flat performances are being blamed for Udinese's poor campaign so far.

Guidolin said: "These are situations that happen in football and the team got it wrong rather than an individual. If we play well then Di Natale will get chances too, so there is no scapegoat here.

"The next game with Livorno will be decisive, so we want to be organised, determined and hungry to do well.

"I exchanged some messages with patron Giampaolo Pozzo. He knows how much I care about these club colours."
