Udinese coach Francesco Guidolin was delighted with their surprise Coppa Italia win at AC Milan.
Mario Balotelli had put the hosts in front after six minutes, but a Luis Muriel penalty and Nico Lopez solo effort turned it around for a 2-1 quarter-final victory.
"The game started badly and at the moment it seems we always concede at the first opportunity," Guidolin told Rai Sport.
"It wasn't easy to gain confidence, but slowly we were able to cover the gaping hole of disappointment. Then we played the way Udinese know how, the kind of performance we had in the past.
"This is a very young side, but when they shake off fear, anxiety and insecurity they can really play. They created many scoring opportunities."
