Udinese have secured attacker Alexis Sanchez to a new, improved contract.
He was contracted to the club until 2012, but Udinese have rewarded him by prolonging his deal for another two years.
Udinese chief Sergio Gasperin confirmed: "Last week Alexis Sanchez prolonged his contract for five years with Udinese. Before, the contract expired in 2012, now it expires in 2014.
"We are very satisfied with this extension. Obviously there has been a salary increase, but we won't reveal the figure out of respect towards the player and the club.
"We know that the World Cup in South Africa will be an important window for our players. We are very satisfied with what Sanchez and Orellana have done for the Chilean national team.
"I hope they have a great World Cup."
