Two-goal Musa pleased as Leicester show improvement against Barcelona

Ahmed Musa was left encouraged by Leicester City's second-half performance against Barcelona.

Leicester suffered a 4-2 defeat against the Catalan giants in the International Champions Cup in Stockholm on Wednesday night but an improved performance during the second half meant that the Foxes did not suffer a very heavy loss at the end.

It was summer signing Musa who proved to be the catalyst in bringing about an improvement for Leicester in the second period with two excellent goals and following the game, the Nigerian international stated that he was lpleased by the improved display from the Foxes following the interval.

Musa said: "It was a very good performance, it's not easy to play against a big team like Barcelona.

"My performance, I'm very happy coming in and getting the two goals - it's not easy.

"We can see a lot of improvement, because against PSG we lost 4-0 but against Barcelona we got 4-2. It's not easy, but we're working very hard to achieve more things.

"I'm going to work very hard to help the team. I am in the group now, we are like a family, and at the end of the season we will see what we are able to achieve."
