Manchester United have announced a four-year sponsorship agreement with Turkish financial institution Denizbank, reports SportsPro. The new deal gives Denizbank, which has over 11,250 employees across 610 branches in Turkey, exclusive rights to offer the official Manchester United credit card in the Turkish market, where the Premier League giants claim to have 9.5 million followers.
Former United keeper Peter Schmeichel attended a press conference to launch the partnership ahead of the Red Devils' Uefa Champions League clash with Galatasaray on Tuesday.
Manchester United commercial director Richard Arnold said of the deal: "This is the eleventh sponsorship to be announced by the club so far this season, which demonstrates not only the strength of the Manchester United brand but also our desire to engage with our fans through our global network of likeminded businesses."
