Celtic boss Neil Lennon will use the clubs mini-break in Turkey as an opportunity to go over some potential winter transfers.
The Scottish Premier League champions are away from Glasgow between now and their January 18 clash with Motherwell and Lennon says it will be a good chance to take stock of the season thus far as well as their transfer requirements.
"It'll be important, a change of climate is always good at this time of the season," said Lennon.
"We've had a real heavy schedule from the middle of July up to now, so that speaks volumes for our consistency and the way the team has played.
"The time off will refresh and recharge them again.
"We do feel as if the squad needs strengthening and that's what we'll endeavour to do for however long it takes until the window shuts."
