A trio of Scottish Premier League clubs are believed to be keen on former St Mirren attacker Billy Mehmet.
The 27-year old Irishman has been given permission to leave Turkish club Genclerbirligi on a free transfer, alerting a handful of clubs in the UK.
Sky Sports understands that Rangers, Aberdeen and Heart of Midlothian are all keen on the forward, who spent five seasons at St Mirren Park, following a short stint with West Ham United and two years with Dunfermline.
He joined Genclerbirligi in the summer and has appeared 14 times for the Ankara club but his contract will be mutually terminated so he can gain a move away.
