Trialist Kazim-Richards scores in West Ham draw

Trialist Colin Kazim-Richards did himself no harm as he chases a deal at West Ham United.

Kazim-Richards and Sam Baldock scored two goals in the space of three minutes to earn West Ham a 2-2 draw with German second division side Energie Cottbus in a friendly match at the Stadion der Freundschaft.

The hosts took the lead in the eighth minute after Daniel Adlung broke down the left and curled in a shot that slipped through goalkeeper Stephen Henderson's grasp and into the net.

The home side added to their lead on 42 minutes when Adlung scored his second of the match with a 20-yard shot that nestled into the bottom corner.

But West Ham got back in the game on 77 minutes as Kazim-Richards volleyed home from the edge of the area and they pulled level just two minutes later with a looping Baldock header.
