Trezeguet declares he's staying with Juventus

David Trezeguet has declared he wants to stay with Juventus.

The French striker said: "I have spoken a lot, also with my family, and the best solution is to stay at Juventus. This year I will celebrate the 10 years I have spent in Bianconero, it's an extraordinary achievement for a foreign player.

"I owe a lot to this club because they have given me a lot on a professional and personal level, just as I have done a lot for this team and I have nothing more to prove. I only have something to win."

Trezeguet admits he gets along better with new coach Ciro Ferrara than former boss Claudio Ranieri.

"It never went well with Ranieri. Ferrara was my old team-mate, I cleared things up with him, also because the beginning of training camp wasn't easy because I didn't know if I would stay or go."
