Tranmere Rovers have snapped up Aston Villa defender Janoi Donacien on-loan to January.
The 20-year old centre back secured a two year contract with Villa earlier this summer after impressing in their Under-21s and NextGen team in recent seasons.
Manager Rob Edwards said: "Janoi is a player I've watched a number of times for Villa's Under-21s.
"He's a good defender who is very athletic and will give us extra strength in depth at the back.
"I'd like to thank Paul Lambert and Aston Villa for allowing Janoi to join us."
