League Two Tranmere Rovers have sacked boss Rob Edwards after just five months in the job, with the club lying bottom of the Football League. The 41 year old took over in May after the club's relegation, but they have won just two league games so far this term.
"With the club currently sitting at the bottom of League Two it was decided this was the right time to make the break," said chairman Mark Palios.
