New Trabzonspor coach Eddie Newton admits he has ambitions to eventually return to Chelsea.
The Englishman quit his role as part of Frank Lampard's Blues backroom staff in January to join Turkish side Trabzonspor as assistant to Huseyin Cimsir.
Newton then took charge as caretaker when Cimsir was sacked before the club's final two games of 2019-20, winning 2-1 against Kayserispor to secure second place in the Super Lig before defeating Alanyaspor 2-0 in the Turkish Cup Final.
"Everyone knows where my heart is, I love Chelsea and I'm not going to deny that," the 48-year-old told The Sun.
"It would be foolhardy to say I'm not. I wouldn't close myself off. If they came then great but we'll see. I am open to all offers.
"Why wouldn't you want to work in the Premier League? You want to work against the best.
"I wanted to play against the best when I was a player and it's the same as a manager.
"It's arguably the best league in the world and some of the best coaches in the world are operating in the Premier League."
