Yaya Toure has plans to win the Champions League with Manchester City.

The star midfielder is planning to stay put at the Etihad Stadium because he is eager to achieve glory in Europe's premier club competition with the 2014 Premier League winners.

"It is one of my big targets because City have been in the shadow of (Manchester) United for so long," he said in an interview with the Manchester Evening News.

"Sometimes their fans are coming back, saying we are the top because we have already won the Champions League.

"What I want for the fans is the Champions League. I will do everything that's possible."
