Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure is set to miss Sunday's clash against Tottenham due to a hamstring strain.
The Ivorian was forced off at half-time of last weekend's 3-2 win against Aston Villa at Etihad Stadium.
The Manchester Evening News reports that Toure has been assessed by club doctors this week and could miss the trip to North London.
City manager Manuel Pellegrini confirmed that Toure had damaged his hamstring after the win over Villa and it is now likely to keep him out of the meeting with Spurs.
