Toulouse president Damien Comolli has opened the door to an alliance with AC Milan.

Like Milan, Toulouse are now majority owned by Red Bird Capital Partners.

Comolli said, "The closing of Milan is scheduled for September 6.

"We will have a better vision of what will happen after that date. The two clubs will be independent.

"A collaboration? We have not talked about it. But everything is possible. Anything that can help us progress will be positive. But I must admit that this is not a topic that we have yet to discuss."
