Totti surprised by Roma title challenge

Roma captain Francesco Totti admits he's been surprised by their Scudetto push this season.

The Giallorossi were battling to move away from the dropzone before Claudio Ranieri replaced Luciano Spalletti earlier this season.

In his column for Corriere dello Sport, Totti wrote: "We got an important victory against Bari on Saturday, which allows us to dream. We want to live this dream until the end, giving everything to ensure that we have no regrets because we have created a great chance for ourselves.

"If only we stop and think about how we started this season, it now seems strange, but we want to live this dream until the end. I am sure that the Olimpico will also be full on Sunday also because of the winning policy of lowering the price of tickets that the club has already adopted for some time.

"There were so many of our fans who followed us to Bari. We realised just how big their presence was from the pitch. But at the end of the game when we went under the Curva, we truly understood how big the sea of people who have supported us really was and I am sure that it will be the same in the away matches to come."
