Tottenham midfielder Didier Zokora was happy to escape Anderlecht unscathed after being struck by a lighter thrown by Anderlecht's hooligan element last night.
After the 1-1 draw, the Ivory Coast star said: "I played in this country for four years and they hate me."
Zokora insisted: "I want to help my team.
"Ramos is the boss and today he told me to play centre-half so I did. I want to help the team and I'm happy."
He added: "Of course, it was difficult but we played very well.
"I'm very happy for the fans and we've got some confidence back in time for Sunday's clash against Manchester City."
Zokora could not bear to watch Dimitar Berbatov's penalty and admitted: "I never watch penalties with my team because I'm very nervous!"
