Tottenham midfielder Scott Parker admits he was tempted to join the celebrations after Clint Dempsey's equaliser against Manchester United.

Parker was on the bench after being substituted for Tom Huddlestone in the last 10 minutes and described the moment when Dempsey struck.

He told the club's website: "It was wicked, great. Everyone was buzzing that we nicked the goal and got what we wanted and deserved out of the game. I was tempted to join in the celebrations but I thought I might pull up with cramp, so thought I better not!"
