Jemaine Jenas says he was a fan of former Tottenham boss Juande Ramos.
Jenas told BBC London 94.9: "When Juande was here he was having a lot of bad luck. I can't say enough about him, how good he is.
"I spoke to him after he left about how disappointed I was to see him go, but at the same time you have to move on."
The midfielder added: "Sometimes in football these things happen. Obviously a new manager (Harry Redknapp) coming in lifted the whole place and along with that we got a few results and I think the whole thing combined just gave the club a big lift.
"He (Redknapp) has been fantastic for us and he's given everybody a lift around the club.
"Along with that, we've had a lot of good results as well which have helped the situation, so its been enjoyable working with him.
"I've always wondered what it would be like to work under him and now I'm getting to experience it."
