Tottenham midfielder Iago Falque has suffered an injury blow on-loan at Rayo Vallecano.
Falque is facing up to two months on the sidelines with a torn adductor muscle, the Primera Division club have announced on their website.
The 22-year-old attacking midfielder, who recently joined Rayo on a season-long loan from Barclays Premier League club Tottenham, was replaced after just five minutes of Friday night's 2-1 home defeat to Levante after suffering the injury and subsequent tests have revealed the extent of the problem
