Tottenham's Milos Veljkovic has revealed that he is set to join Middlesbrough on loan.
The 19-year old Swiss-born Serbian youth international has indicated that he will join the Championship club on a three-month deal in a bid to further his development in a first teak environment.
"I'm leaving on a three-month loan," Veljkovic told Belgrade daily Telegraf.
"Middlesbrough manager Aitor Karanka called me to talk about the possibility. He was previously an assistant to Jose Mourinho.
"I am happy to get the chance. In January, a loan could be extended to the end of the season."
Veljkovic, who can operate as a central defender or in midfield, has made three senior appearances for Spurs since arriving in north London from Swiss giants FC Basel in 2011.
