Tottenham are eyeing Lokomotiv Moscow midfielder Lassana Diarra.
The Sunday Express says Spurs are eyeing a summer move to bring former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder Diarra back to the Premier League, but could face competition from Manchester City.
Diarra moved to Russia with Anzhi Makhachkala in 2012 after leaving Real Madrid but was a victim of a change of philosophy at Anzhi and was shipped out to Lokomotiv in August.
And while Spurs are thought to be ready to offer Diarra a return to London, City may not have given up on the 28-year-old just yet as manager Manuel Pellegrini seeks a new, ball-winning midfielder.
