Tottenham have made contact with Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho about succeeding Harry Redknapp. The Daily Mail says chairman Daniel Levy is thought to be driving a hard bargain with the FA to release Redknapp from his contract and is hopeful of hanging onto his manager.
But should Redknapp leave for England, Spurs have targeted Real Madrid boss Mourinho and will let the Portuguese name his price to move to north London.
Other possibilities include David Moyes (Everton) and Brendan Rodgers (Swansea City) but Levy is not thought to be convinced on either manager.
