Davy Klaassen has signed a new contract with Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam.
The 21-year old midfielder was being linked with a possible summer move to Tottenham following suggestions that Holland boss Louis van Gaal was set to take the reins at White Hart Lane.
But with those rumours settling after Spurs chairman Daniel Levy spoke of no 'major upheaval' this summer, Klaassen has committed himself to Ajax until 2018.
"This is a logical step for me. We really want to start building something with Ajax, and I think we are doing well," he told the club's official website.
"I believe that beautiful things can happen."
