Tottenham target Berahino to remain at West Brom

Saido Berahino is set to remain with West Bromwich Albion for the remainder of the season.

There has recently been talk that the promising striker was set to be the subject of further bids from Tottenham in January but reports suggest that will not be the case.

The Daily Mirror indicates that Albion chairman Jeremy Peace has come to an agreement with 22-year-old Berahino who briefly refused to play under the Baggies chief after missing out on a move to White Hart Lane in the summer.

It is believed that Albion will reconsider Berahino's position at the club next summer when he has just 12 months to run on his contract at The Hawthorns.

The England U21 international has scored two goals in six appearances for the Baggies this season with the West Midlands club currently sitting 17th on the Premier League table with eight points from eight matches.
