Tottenham take Bolton to cup replay

Tottenham shrugged off a poor first half performance to rally and earn a 1-1 draw with Bolton at the Reebok Stadium in the FA Cup fifth round. Spurs were second best in the first forty five minutes and Bolton should really have had more than one goal to show for their domination.

Wanderers opened the scoring in the 34th minute when a flowing move culminated in Kevin Davies scoring from 12 yards. Prior to that they had created four other gilt edged chances.

But the second half was a transformation for the visitors, as they not only drew level but hit the woodwork twice and missed a penalty.

Jermain Defoe equalised in the 61st minute before Tom Huddlestone allowed Jussi Jaaskelainen to save his penalty.

Peter Crouch headed against the cross bar and moments later Paul Robinson deflected Wilson Palacios' cross against the woodwork.
