Tottenham striker Kane proud of World Cup Golden Boot, but...

Tottenham's England captain Harry Kane is happy with his World Cup Golden Boot.

But he insists it is trophies he's in the game for.

“To win the Golden Boot at the World Cup and feel like I could have done better is exciting," said Kane. “There's a lot of improvement (possible) there and I'm at a high level already.

“But team trophies are the main thing for me. We haven't won one since 1966 so for any England players that's their aim, to bring a major trophy home. I want to play for England for next 10 years and have many more big tournaments.

“Obviously I'd love to sit here and say we're definitely going to win it (Euro 2020) but we know there's a lot of hard work before then.

“We want the support and belief everyone showed but we know there's still a long way to go to reach that goal. The new Nations League is a chance to win a trophy as well."
