Tottenham striker Harry Kane was delighted to land another goalscoring record last night.
The 29-year-old scored a brace in the 4-0 win over Crystal Palace to reach 198 goals in the Premier League, breaking Shearer's record for goals in his first 300 games.
The ex-Newcastle striker scored 196 goals in his first 300 meetings.
“It's always nice to be talked about in comparison to players like Alan," said Kane. "I must continue in the same spirit."
