Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe was delighted to sign off for the season with a goal for England last week.
"I felt sharp in training all week," Defoe told the Spurs website. "Stuart Pearce (coach) told me to get warmed up five minutes before half-time and when he said that, I knew I had to be going on for the second half and I felt good.
"I remember playing Andorra at Old Trafford a couple of years ago and the way they set up with 10 men behind the ball means you can't really get the ball in to feet.
"They are difficult to play against in that respect but I knew we'd get loads of crosses into the box and I knew if I was always in there I'd get my chances.
"I should have scored three! I thought about tapping Crouchy's in but thought I'd be given offside - to be fair, he's my mate as well!"
