Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe is looking forward to facing former club Bournemouth in preseason.

"Bournemouth will be special for me," he told the Spurs website. "I scored lots of goals there and it was a fantastic experience for me at that age.

I loved my time there and it will be great to go back."
