Tottenham striker Peter Crouch says it's important they finish the season with a victory.
Spurs now face relegation-threatened Birmingham at home.
"We didn't want the season to just fade away," Crouch told the club's website.
"The fans who travelled to Liverpool expected the team to perform and we didn't want it to just drift off.
"We'd missed out on the Champions League next season and it would have been easy to let the season fall away but the manager said there was no way we could do that.
"To beat an in-form Liverpool team at Anfield was great and we have to make sure we finish the season strongly in front of our own fans against Birmingham."
