Tottenham star Hojbjerg: I'm so lucky to play with Lloris

Tottenham midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg admits he is very lucky to play with a legend such as Hugo Lloris.

The French veteran, who is a World Cup winner, has been an assured presence behind Spurs' defense for many years.

While Hojbjerg has personal ambitions to win trophies with Spurs, he desperately wants to win one for his teammate as well.

When asked about Lloris, he told SPURSPLAY: "I was joking in the changing room, I think before the game they were showing there on the screen ten saves [ten best saves in ten years] from Hugo, amazing.

"I remember playing against him in Wembley with Southampton and I had a shot and he took it and it hit the post and I was asking myself how that's possible.

"He's just doing it year after year and Hugo is not only my friend he's a fantastic teammate and he's my captain so he's a legend.

"Sometimes you're lucky to be able to play with legends through your career and Hugo is one of them and I hope for him that we can bring him something this season or whenever because he deserves that."
