Tottenham are expected to hold talks with France coach Laurent Blanc today.

The Guardian says while Andre Villas-Boas is favourite, Tottenham have made it clear they intend to speak with a few candidates and another contender for the role, Blanc, is expected to become available on Thursday.

The France manager is due to meet Noël le Graët, the president of the French Football Federation, and confirm his intention to depart the post following Les Bleus' disappointing showing at Euro 2012. Regardless, no decision is anticipated on an appointment until next week at the earliest.

Villas-Boas would still appear to be likelier to take over at the north London club.
