Tottenham scrape through in UEFA Cup

A Tom Huddlestone header earned Tottenham Hotspur a place in the final 32 of the UEFA Cup.

The Spurs needed just a point to go through but it looked dire when Spartak Moscow went ahead by two goals in the first half at White Hart Lane.

Artem Dzjuba put the Russians ahead in the 23rd minute then followed up ten minutes later and it looked curtains for Harry Redknapp's men, but they managed to fight back.

Luka Modric scored his first goal in Spurs colours in the 67th minute and then elation for the home side when Tom Huddlestone equalised with a header with 25 minutes remaining.

The point gained form the clash ensured Tottenham would progress through to the next phase of the competition.
